Samhain Halloween story, Glimpses #94. We incorrectly identified Samhain as the Lord of the Dead, an error which appears in a number of popular sources. The Celtic word actually refers to summer's end. There was a minor Celtic god named Samhain or Samen who had a role in animal husbandry, but there is no connection with Halloween. Martin Luther King, Jr. Assassination Based on detail from Abernathy's eyewitness account And the Walls Came Tumbling Down and other sources, we stated there was a large hole in King's chest. Since the bullet entered the right cheek, passed through the spine and lodged in the left shoulder, this does not appear probable. Crowther Story, Glimpses # 152 Owing to faulty transcription, "Olorun" (the Yoruba word for God), was entered as "Olomn" and Yoruba as "Yomba."
