This is free but we do have some requirements:

What kind of stories can I expect?
You will get a new story each day. Each story is about 220-250 words
long and written from a Protestant point of view. Look at more stories on our preview page.
What if our display doesn't fit your design?
You can change the appearance of your stories with css. Headers are
coded as <span class="chi_hed">; dates are coded as
<span class="chi_date">; and footers as <span class="chi_fut">
Edit your css file to change the specifications as you like. The attribution to chi must not be made invisible.
What does the story look like?
Here is today's full length (220-250 words) story. (You will not get
the box, which is for our display purposes only).
Israel a Nation
The United States urged caution; accept a truce, advised General Marshall. War was inevitable if the Jews declared independence. Although they controlled Palestine's internal lines, they faced overwhelming odds. The Jewish leaders talked all the night of May 12 and voted to declare nationhood.
At 8 AM on this day May 14, 1948, the British lowered the Union Jack over Jerusalem. Arabs took this as the signal for war. By mid-afternoon conflict raged across Palestine. At 4 PM Ben-Gurion read the Declaration of Israeli Independence. Jewish history and sufferings gave them a moral right to the land, he said.
Arab troops rode to battle with cheers in their ears and flowers on their vehicles that sultry day. They had air forces, Israel none. Israel's limited weapons were often antiquated. Moshe Dayan had only two old field pieces, but used them so effectively against Syrian tanks that they disengaged. Israel's strengths were determination, a superb grasp of military tactics, and unity of command. The Jews considered their chances just even--if help poured in.
The fiercest fighting was against the Jordanians and Egyptians. The battle for Jerusalem was terrific with many casualties.
When the firing ceased, the Arabs had possession of the old quarter of Jerusalem. But Israel held more ground than was expected. The Bible was vindicated: the Jews were restored to their ancient land.
